Kingfish fishing is great from November through to March but can be available all year round. We provide quality tackle to conserve the kingfish. You can catch, photograph and release your kingfish safely to swim off, breed and be caught again. We have records of fish caught up to 6 times. This is a true world sport using jigs, stick bait or bait. This is a beautiful fish which gives you a great workout. We usually release our Kingfish catches.

We fish deep water, near White Island, using variety of techniques to challenge your skills. Stick-bait, Jigging, bait and so on. The best number of fishermen is four but we can take up to six. (In special circumstances we can accommodate 7-8 people, please contact us for pricing).
Kingfish can be released or kept if 1 metre. They are great eaten fresh, raw, panfried, smoked, Sashimi, curried, crumbed, fish cakes and much more.
